So I thought I'd start the weekend off right with my
weekly Friday Obsession.
So I just moved back to Portland, OR and Scott is now in the Navy reserves so we are finally able to dig in some roots! I can't explain how happy I'am about this!
I've never had my own place that I could really do whatever I wanted to. Always had room mates to think of .. Not that I ignore Scott's opinion, he just honestly doesn't care as long as he has room for his computers.
I've been intrigued and inspired by small space dwellings for some time now as well as earth domes. Mostly because I think modern homes are getting far to large and thus we buy far too much to fill them up. I don't know about you, but I don't want my things to own me and when I find myself with a lot of possessions I tend to make decisions based on my stuff. No matter your choice in size, the style of your home should speak of who you are. And on that note, here are some homes and decor that inspire me!

So freakin' cool, these spaces! We're hoping to do some house hunting in the Fall and so I'm constantly on the look out for inspiration. I use dwellinggawker.com. It's got some amazing stuff.

You make a good point regarding size of space. Here, everyone wants a BIG space. A BIG house...a BIG name for themselves. So far, I've slipped through the cracks in becoming that way, good reminder!
I think you did find me through Clay! What a small world. Yeah, introversion has recently grabbed my attention. Trying to figure out how to navigate this adult world while being an introvert is hard/weird.
